In Episode 1, we speak with martial artist, veteran, and activist Art Ishii.
Born in Chicago and raised in Hawaii and Los Angeles, Art tells stories about Los Angeles neighborhoods, the Buddhahead Breakfast Club, and Yellow Brotherhood. He also sheds insight on his hopes for the future of Little Tokyo, and how his involvement in various forms of Japanese martial arts over the years have shaped his J-Town experiences.
